"Hey Kabosu," you ask, "you know that's a whole 32 updates, right?"
Well, it is. But I have the power of God, anime, and 5 hour energy, so here we go. Note; I'll be taking these on in big chunks, so I'll be skipping short bug fixes and such.
Update 1.1.8: Scorpion nerf, Zakana G buff, Neg Resist nerf, Team Integrity Buff, and VS. mode. We'll be going through these 1 by 1... fun.
- Scorpion Nerf - We saw it coming. Rejoice! It's here. Scorpion is dead. Essentially (a little history), the Scorpion was broken because its projectiles traveled to the far extent of its range, which allowed range buffs to make Scorpion from a short-range shotgun type to a long-range "You're dead. And your friend next to you. And the dude standing 500 meters away," kinda turret, which wasn't all that fun to play against. Anywho, the range is now a fixed distance and it can no longer perform its shenanigans.
- Zakana G Buff - Yea, Zak-G is now like 25% stronger than it used to be, I'd say its meta to this day (update 1.1.39), though using it as your main tower might not be the best idea. It's best used to get through the initial defense line, and other turrets (cough Caligo Nox cough) are probably better at doing the rest.
- Negative Resistance Nerf - Negative resistance was nerfed pretty hard, reduced from a max of 95% to 90%, which actually (math time) doubles your turrets' chances of getting affected by negative effects. This gives the negative effect-giving towers a slight advantage. Caligo Nox can inflict darkness better, Zak-G can disable shields better, so on and so forth
- Team Integrity Buff - The upgrade Team Integrity (found on Chargors, Korazons, etc.) was pretty much doubled to now give all units in range a max of 22hp. Korazon spammers can be happy! Until they realize that Korazon is still bad because it deals -2 damage. No but in all seriousness, adding 1 or 2 Korazons to a base can make it a bit tougher now.
- Versus Mode - You can type in a base name to 1v1 it instantly, no need to keep going through the rotation to fight that single guy you always test your base against.
Update 1.1.9: ZAC Rank X buff. ZAC Assimilators, when rank X, give their fighters rank X too. A +100hp buff across all fighters (255 to 355) is seriously powerful, making it perhaps the greatest unit to get rank X on.
Update 1.1.10: Launching skills. You can tap and hold to launch the skills menu now, instead of double tapping... that's really it
Update 1.1.11: *Penetration Joke Here.* Thor and Poseidon now get a passive ability to break shields for some random reason, don't ask me. Note that this does not apply to Zycon Storms, the pre-evolution Poseidon.
Update 1.1.12: The "Jesus Christ Nerazon is Hell" update. Featured Changes: Glorious Blaster, Caligo Nox, Aigaion Defender / Astro Nexus, and some small others...
- The Pinkish Purple Guy - Glorious Blaster is the Rank VII evolution of the Grand Blaster. It deals more damage and the shots kinda split into 4 little slots upon collision. It has this strange bug (pretty sure it's still unfixed) where the Fire Rate of the turret drops to 0.7 (Very Very Fast) immediately after you upgrade, and it starts to deal a lot more damage. Eventually, upon restarting the app or upgrading its Fire Rate through the targeting upgrade, the Fire Rate slows down and caps at 3.2ish. Overall, not too great of a turret, I'd stick to Zak-G's.
- Caligo Nox - Rank VII upgrade of the Devas Nero, a Bonus Content exclusive unit. This bad boy costs tons of money to evolve and fully upgrade, but is a darkness minigun combined with a DPS shotgun. It does a lot. Applies darkness at insane rates, deals tons of damage. Is currently the PvP meta, even after undergoing 2 or 3 nerfs.
- Nerazon Changes - Now in Nerazon and higher (the Bonus Content exclusive levels), you might find this cool dude WHO IS REALLY BIG AND ORANGE AND HARD TO MISS called the Aigaion Defender (design credit to Pylon on the discord). Bad news, Aigaion Defender is pretty much a "miniboss," it deals a lot of damage, is very tanky, and overall a rather sizeable orange nuisance to those levels. Slightly rare chance of seeing it though, like one every maybe 5-10 levels. Good news, if you beat it, you have a high chance of getting a rare unit from its corpse. That's Astro Nexus (caps at 2), what might just be the strongest turret in the game right now. It's a turret, that can switch into drone form, and respawn if destroyed in this drone form. It also deals a ton of damage. Good, cool, strong. Design credit to God Incarnate on the discord.
- Small Others - Fira Zevon infects enemies with little fire stuff; does no damage, don't use. Slow firing units in arena fire faster; no tangible change, whatever. Low graphics option; cool, try it out, that's it.
Update 1.1.20: Defensive Update ft. Hurricane. We got a new rare (Hurricane), some Wall changes, and the Aegis Barrier buffs! There are some others but they're just buffs and nerfs that I've pretty much included in previous statements...
- Hurricane - We all love a new rare unit. Hurricane has been found on Zone One and Nerazon, but you may be able to find it on other stages, just has not been confirmed yet. It has a unknown cap, but there is a screenshot of a PvP base with 8. I carry 6 currently. It's a hilariously strong rocket launcher like turret that shoots a projectile dealing some 200 damage across a global range. Has a cool mode shift ability where you can change the function of the rocket, whether you want it to stun or confuse or just deal more damage.
- Wall Changes - Defensive Wall was given a mode shift, which includes abilities like taking less damage or regenerating faster. It's pretty cool, check it out.
- Aegis Barrier Buffs - Aegis Barrier now starts with regen at level 1. Pretty much useless, except for early game, where it's still kinda useless. However, Tech Centers can now get Titan Booster, an upgrade that universally adds hp to Titan Barriers. Pretty cool, not that useful.
Update 1.1.30: SW Clans! Clans are now in the game. They're hella buggy, and you gotta get like 4 of your friends together (I have very little of those), but it's great fun. Kaboclones best clan btw.
Update 1.1.36: X-ZAC Assimilator has a mode shift; as if it weren't OP enough. Kidding, as of now, all the modes suck and you should stick to default.
Conclusion: Haha imagine if I actually concluded with a summary and all that lmao. Nah. Should've been taking notes. See you in another 32 updates lul ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
EDIT: Was just alerted that in one of the most recent fixes, the X-ZAC mode shift was fixed and now a few modes are stronger than the default.
