If you try to place a fira Zevon without a tech center then neko Says “you cant place a verdant zeismat without a tech center on the field.” Note that verdant zeismats are enemies in the game. If you do it with a Caligo Nox then neko says “you can’t place a radialis without a tech center on the field.” Radialises are also enemies in the game. Neko does not mind if you place shield generators on the field without a tech center.
