Hello,
I'm not sure if there are any more plans for further updates, but here it goes.
1. Multiple loadouts - It is a little frustrating having to disasseble your entire base in order to add extra gold generators for example when farming for gold. Having multiple loadouts that you could pick from and do specific builds for would help. This way you could have one for advancing in missions, one for gold farming, etc.
2. Ability to gain extra storage slots - either through gold or as rare drops would be pleasant. Even with bonus content, 50 seems barely enough, to me at least.
3. Ability to reset the game and story in the game options - In the past when I played the flash version of the game, I used to keep multiple save files, and set specific challenges for myself during subsequent playthroughs. For example, going through the game without any healers, or only allowing 2 new units per level, etc. It was a way to get more fun out of the game for me, being able to play through it again, but differently. There also used to be a glitch in the flash version, where if you reset the game while playing a map, it would keep the current difficulty selected. So you could start off the game with "insane" difficulty right from the start, which added extra challenge and fun to it.
4. Active Skill Slot - A skill slot that could let you activate it just by tapping an icon of it (or using a gesuture/ double tap if possible?) rather than having to tap and hold. Useful for quick-recharge skills or 'taunt enemies' for example.
5. 2x damage/ 2x gold Timers - Not being able to see a timer for them is a bit odd. It makes it feel like I don't know if the 2x damage is on or not, or whether it's 2 seconds or 5 seconds or 30 seconds which is slightly confusing.
6. Snap-to-grid option during base building - It's something that I've always wanted before, since it feels good to make something clean and symmetrical. Though I can understand if it would be difficult to implement.
7. Ability to see EXP bars/ EXP to next level when inspecting a turret - Just a nice-to-have that used to be in the original flash game.
Also, have you considered making a Steam/ PC version of the game. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to port it, so maybe it would not be worth it, but I would probably buy it a third time if there was one haha. This remains one of my favorite games to this day. ^^
